Who doesn’t love Sirius Black? Once he gets cleaned up he’s a rather handsome wizard after all. To most wizards, Sirius Black is the convicted mass murderer of thirteen Muggles. He is the first wizard to have broken out of the wizard prison Azkaban and thought to be the most faithful supporter of You-Know-Who. But most wizards don’t know the truth. In fact, Sirius was wrongfully convicted and hates everything to do with Voldemort, the dark arts, and his pureblood-loving family. He gets to be the seventh block in the Order of the Phoenix C2C Crochet Afghan.

Harry Potter first meets Sirius Black when, in the guise of a dog, he drags Ron Weasley through a secret tunnel into the Shrieking Shack knowing Harry will follow. After proving he did not kill all those people twelve years before, he invites Harry to live with him at his family home which he inherited. Though Sirius would love to be in the thick of the fight against Voldemort, he is forced to stay in the shadows so as not to be caught and returned to Azkaban. He does what he can, however, and allows the Order of the Phoenix to us his home as their headquarters.
